Chess Squares by Sherrie

1 box butter-cake mix
1 egg
1 stick butter
1 pkg. 8 oz. cream cheese
1 box powdered sugar
3 eggs
2 tst. vanilla

Combine the first 3 ingre. in a mixer until it looks like dough. Then pat this into a 11x9 pan.

Then mix the next 4 ingredients in a mixer until creamy. Pour this over the mixture in pan and smooth out. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
